Bill Wietecha
President
Bill has spent the past 30 years honing his marketing and advertising skills. He started his career in the late 1970s at BBDO Advertising where he worked with Lee Iacocca and his team to lay the groundwork for the reincarnation of the Chrysler brand. His specialty was data analysis, which set the stage for his research forte later in his career.
After BBDO, Bill continued in advertising for the next several years – managing numerous high-profile accounts including Sears, Arby’s, American Tourister, Nynex, Spalding, Anderson Little, and IBM College Division.
In 1995, Bill formed the BRW Group. It was founded on
two principles: firstly, all clients will be more successful
with senior level talent managing their business on a
daily basis; secondly, all research is not alike. This philosophy led to the evolution of the BRW Group into Converge Marketing.
Converge Marketing specializes in research and has built a reputation for hands on work with a strategic focus. Today, Converge’s clients include ABC Sports, Perrier, ECCO Shoes, New England Gas, and McDonald’s.
